Auntie Leona's Santa dilemma solved

I have been sitting on my couch for a few days wondering how will Santa get into with ALL my gifts as we have no chimney in our apartment. I called my nieces Aoife and Aislinn and left a voicemail for them to ask them their opinion on what they thought would happen.

Niamh, relaid the resolution to my dilemma as Aoife and she has a discussion about it in the car today.

Aoife feels that Santa only needs a crack the size to let a spider to come in as he  has  the magic power to get in with all my gifts. I then asked if he has a magic wand like Harry Potter but I was told "No, don't be silly Auntie Leona"

Phew I let out a big sign of relief when I realized that Santa would be able to come in next week. Now I am looking around for cracks big enough to let spiders in.

The story gets better  when I got home from work today, Larry asked me if I wanted to open one of my Christmas gift. I said YES. He handed me a package that looked like a bar of chocolate and I said "Why are you giving me Chocolate as you know the Dr tells me I cannot eat it any more! Is it sugar free?" When I opened it up it was not chocolate but a wonderful  gift as follows:

It is a Santa's magic key and the verse is as follows:

Santa's Magic Key
Our stockings hang upon a wall.
We have no fireplace at all!
You see the problem is quite clear.
Santa, how will you get in here?

We heard a legend. Is it true?
Of magic only you can do.
We'll leave out any plain old key,
and mark it "Santa" so you can see.

Your magic makes the key fit right,
so you can get inside that night,
Thank you Santa, here's our key,
The milk and cookies are on me!

Thanks, Lar, for such a wonderful gift. Now I can rest assured that Santa has wonderful magic power that he can come in through cracks and also that I have a key that Santa magic will fit our front door. Now all I have to do is decide where to leave  the key  on Christmas Eve.

Thanks Aoife and Larry for solving my Santa dilemma!

Hope all who reads this blog experiences the magic of Christmas and gets renewed hope and peace as we celebrate the birthday of baby Jesus. May the wonder and joy of Christmas be with you through the new year.
