I watched the movie Once last weekend and loved it! Tonight I just watched Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova win an Oscar for the song "Falling Slowly" and jumped up and down just as excited as if Ireland scored a goal in the World Cup.
I have the soundtrack of this wonderful independant movie on my iPod for about two weeks now and all the songs are amazing and I am so glad that they have won an Ocscar. Here is the song with some wonderful scenes from the movie:
I love all the scenes of Dublin, it reminds me of the six and a half years that I lived there.
If you have not seen the movie yet, it is a must see. I need to watch it again and it maybe one that I might even buy!

I am SO Irish!! :)) Gerry and I were jumping up and down and silently screaming as to not wake the baby, but my FAV part was when they let her come back to make that BEAUTIFUL speech! We can't wait to watch the movie tomorrow night! Peace...A
