So another Super Bowl is over.........

.......and this means that football season is over for another year. In our house this also means that a certain cushion gets retired for another year. The year we got engaged I got a present on the first day of preseason games from Larry. Here is it:



It says "We interrupt this marriage to bring you football season"

This comes out every year when preseason started and sits on the couch until the end of the Super Bowl game. In the middle of 4th quarter today I took this picture and at the end of the game, I invited Larry back into the living room. I handed the cushion to him and I asked him for permission to put it away for another year. He played along with me and kissed, hugged it and then blessed it and told me it will be back next July in time for preseason. The cushion is now on its resting place on the bookcase retired for another year.

Now he just reminded me that next Sunday is pro bowl .........is there ever an end to sport!! I for one am looking forward to the start of Baseball Season and love opening night when we always go to see the fireworks. I wonder will it be the same this year without Barry.
